Charles W. Whittemore letter : Mexico City : DS, typescript, 1913 Mar. 9.

Copy of a letter to the writer's mother, dealing principally with the "Decena Trágica," or ten days of conflict in Mexico City that resulted in the overthrow of Madero's regime and his assassination. The writer mentions many prominent Mexican figures and praises the conduct of U.S. officials on the scene, particularly Ambassador Henry Lane Wilson.
